One of my favourite trends this season is denim. Who would have thought the 90's look of lots of denim would be back? I, for one, was sceptical at first. From jeans and shorts to shirts and waistcoats to double denim, we can't get enough of the fabric. Right now I'm loving pale and stonewashed denims.
Here are some of my tips on how you can look devilish in denim:
Always dress for your shape, there is no use buying an item you love if it doesn't flatter your figure. You've got to be able to work it.
For small chested ladies like myself, go with a waistcoat or jacket that has pocket detailing on the chest. It adds layers to emphasise the size of the area.
Go for waistcoats that cut off at the waist to cinch you in at the waist. If you have smaller hips, pair with a floral print skirt as the difference in detail will accentuate the size of your curves and floral is bang on trend right now.
Denim skirts can end up looking awful if worn wrong. Go for shorter skirts to lengthen your legs. I love dark denim with sequinned tops and lots of eye-liner for a rockabilly look. A-line skirts are always flattering, if you think you can pull it off, pair with a short waistcoat for a curvy double denim look but make sure the denims are different shades or washes.
Play-suits - I love them! To break up a denim play-suit wear with a bold printed belt around the waist.
My favourite is the denim shirt. Wear loosely over a pair of leggings with platform heels for an effortless sexy look. Tucked into a pear of jeans is my favourite way to wear double denim. This is me wearing denim shirt from Primark, jeans from boohoo.com with wa look I would describe as hill-billy-chic. =] haha

So there are my views on denim! What are you still doing reading, go buy denim already!!
